How can a viral video help your company?
Everybody has seen the ‘Evolution of Dance’ and the ‘Laughing baby’ on Youtube or various social media sites. These two videos alone have been viewed by over 254 million YouTubers in the world. How often does a moment like this come along? Not very often. Although some people today are attempting to make their own videos viral, this is fantastic because we are getting to see some real talented folks out there. Unfortunately, 99% of the time, the videos are, well how do we say it? the videos are rubbish.
Using video on YouTube to help your business is still relatively new to most people and businesses. Thankfully most companies still don’t see the potential of this method just yet, so it’s not bogged down with businesses trying to make their videos go viral for promotional purposes. However, I believe, 12 months down the line this will be a different story.
Using a video on YouTube to promote your services is great but to be really effective it needs to be done right. It needs to be very funny, clever or hard hitting, or in some cases, all three and more. Many companies claim to make viral videos, but you would be lucky to see a couple of thousand views per month.
