For the more advanced keys we use a program called Keylight. Keylight is widely used in multi-million dollar productions. This can sort nearly every keying problem such as colour leaks, bad lighting and an uneven green screen. The only thing it can’t fix is bad acting!

Now, what if Keylight can’t fix your footage? Well, we can mask the subject frame by frame. Although keying this way it is extremely time consuming, it guarantees a perfect key, 50% of the time it would be easier to re-shoot, but if that’s impossible, then key framing is the way to go.

With the advent of cheap cameras and cheap green screen kits a lot of companies are making their own videos.
